Billy was born in Braintree, Mass...is enrolled in the master of business administration program at Curry...the son of Stefanie and Billy Roche...has two younger siblings, Jenna and Kyle...chose Curry for its master of business administration program and the opportunity to play on the men's ice hockey team...his uncle, Bob Roche, was an assistant coach for Curry men's ice hockey from 2003 to 2010

Before Curry:
Billy is a 2016 graduate of Boston College High School in Dorchester, Mass...played four years of varsity ice hockey and two years of varsity baseball for the Eagles...captained his ice hockey team...won two Catholic Conference championships in ice hockey and one in baseball...won the Hobey Baker and Jack Dempsey Awards for character...played junior hockey for the East Coast Wizards of the Eastern Hockey League and the South Shore Kings of the National Collegiate Development Conference...transferred to Curry after four years at CCC foe Suffolk University...graduated magna cum laude from Suffolk with a degree in finance...captained the Rams men's ice hockey team as a senior and served as alternate captain as a junior...a three-time Krampade Academic All-American...appeared in 65 career games on the blue line at Suffolk, tallying eight goals and 22 assists for 30 points
