Women's Lacrosse Ends Regular Season with Loss at Hartford

West Hartford, CT - The Curry women's lacrosse team fell in their final regular season game of the season to Hartford on Wednesday by a final score of 21-6. The Colonels will enter the CCC playoffs with a 6-11 season, while Hartford ends their season at 8-7.

The Colonels got their first goal of the game with just under seven minutes remaining in the first when Ellie Hardman found the back of the net, making it 5-1. The Colonels would get two goals from Casey Conneely in the second, including one while down a player, but trailed 10-3 at the break. The last three Curry goals all came in the fourth, all from Chloe Chevrier.

Natalie Keenan and Chloe Chevrier each had five draw controls, accounting for all but two of the team's 12. Nicole Michael led the team with three caused turnovers. Zoe Ratcliffe was given the loss in net, making seven saves in one half of action.

Up Next - The Colonels will take on Western New England on Saturday at 1pm in the first round of the CCC playoffs.
