Women's Basketball Earns Fifth Seed For CCC Championship Tournament, Travels to RWU Tuesday

SPRINGFIELD, Mass. – The Curry College women's basketball team has earned the number five seed for the Commonwealth Coast Conference (CCC) Championship Tournament and will travel to fourth-seeded Roger Williams on Tuesday, February 19 at 5:30 p.m.

Endicott claimed the number one seed for the tournament, earning a first round bye and will host the winner of the Curry/Roger Williams quarterfinal matchup in one half of the CCC semifinals on Thursday, February 21. Two seed University of New England will welcome in seven seeded Gordon on Tuesday at 7:00 p.m. The tournament field is rounded out with the final quarterfinal matchup of third seed Western New England University hosting six seed Salve Regina on Tuesday at 7:00 p.m.

The winners of the UNE/Gordon and Western New England/Salve Regina will square off in the second semifinal on Thursday. Game times for the semifinal round will be determined after the conclusion of the first round.

The two semifinal winners will earn a trip to the CCC Women's Basketball Championship which will take place on Saturday, February 23. The winner will be named the CCC Tournament Champion and will earn the conference's automatic bid into the 2019 NCAA Division III Women's Basketball Championship.
