BIDDEFORD, Maine - The Curry College men's and women's cross country teams competed Saturday morning in the Ron Ouellette Invitational at Rotary Park.

On the women's side, sophomore Grayson Cheek (Wellesley Hills, Mass.) was Curry's top finisher, running a 5k time of 25:27.0 in her first collegiate race, finishing 48th overall. Not far behind was junior Tori Carleton (Whitman, Mass.), who crossed the line with a time of 27:11.0.

For the men, the top finisher was freshman Alex Nason (Easton, Mass.), who ran the 8k in 36:28.5 to place 79th. Freshman Chris Matamoros (Southampton, N.Y.) and sophomore Alex Jodoin (Woburn, Mass.) crossed the finish line with times of 40:53.1 and 42:17.2 respectively.

Next up for Curry, they will return to the trails next Saturday for the Pop Crowell Invitational at Gordon College.
