BOURNE, Mass. – The Curry College Women's Cross Country team finished 5th at the 13th Annual Lt. Travis J. Fuller Invitational (Mass. Maritime) on Friday afternoon.
Curry was led by freshman Karlee Walkowiak (Whitingham, Vt.) who placed 18th with a time of 26:53. Walkowiak was followed by senior Caitlyn De Serres (Barre, Vt.) who placed 22nd with a time of 27:32. Following De Serres was freshman Audrey Swope (Marlton, N.J.), 30:28 (26th), senior Dawn Martinsen (Duxbury, Mass.), 31:08 (28th), sophomore Danielle Gagnon (Agawam, Mass.), 32:17 (29th) and senior Christina Garcia (Bayville, N.Y), 32:17, (30th).
Curry heads to the James Earley Invitational (Westfield State) on October 7 at 12:45 p.m.
