BUZZARDS BAY, Mass. - The Curry College Women's Cross Country Team finished 2nd out of 6 teams at the Mass. Maritime 12th Annual Lt. Travis J. Fuller Women's Cross Country Invitational on Saturday morning. The Colonels finished with a team score of 52 points. Host Mass. Maritime came in first place with 43 points. Curry's junior Victoria Gately (Hanson, Mass.) placed 2nd with a time of 20:58
Gately was followed by seniors Lydia Hixson (West Hartford, Conn.), 22:32 (6th), Emilee Purdy (Franklin, Mass.), 22:45 (8th) and Lauren Eide (Stratham, N.H.), 23:39 (11th), freshman Amy Burgess (Ocala, Fla.), 27:14 (25th) and junior Caitlyn De Serres (Barre, Vt.), 27:47 (27th).
Curry heads to the James Early Invitational (Westfield State) on Saturday, October 8 at 11:00 a.m.
