Women's Volleyball Celebrates Senior Night

MILTON, Mass. - Curry College was defeated in three sets by Suffolk University in a Conference of New England women's volleyball match Wednesday night at Dr. Eleanor Meyerhoff Katz Gymnasium. Set scores were 25-9, 25-19, and 25-17.

With the loss, the Colonels fall to an overall record of 1-23 and a conference record of 0-8

Two Curry College women's volleyball team members were honored during a Senior Night ceremony. Jenna Cotter (Watertown, Mass.) and Jess Sullivan (Meredith, N.H.) were celebrated before the contest for their contributions to the team and Curry College as a whole.

Kyah Earls (San Francisco, Calif.) led the Colonels with five kills and four digs along with a pair of service aces. Abby Sousa (Seekonk, Mass.) dished out a team-high seven assists. Emma Hobart (Le Roy, N.Y) was another major contributor with four kills.

Curry College closes out the season with an away match against Nichols beginning at 5 p.m.
