BOSTON - Curry College was defeated by Emmanuel College in three straight sets Tuesday night in non-conference women's volleyball action at the Jean Yawkey Center. Set scores were 25-15, 25-9, 25-20.

Curry fared best in the final set which included a late four-point scoring run. The run was capped off with a kill by Natalie Cloutier (Litchfield, N.H.) to put the Colonels within four points of the lead (24-20).

Lauren Guzman (Cranston, R.I.) led the Colonels with four kills while also recording six digs. Avia Fraine (Mattapoisett, Mass.) finished with a team-high eight digs while Emma St. Cyr (Dover, N.H.) had eight assists.

Curry College (3-6) returns to conference play on Saturday (9/23) with a home matchup against Wentworth at 11 a.m.
