MILTON, Mass. – Curry College Athletics has announced the implementation of the Summer Spotlight series, which will feature profiles of returning student-athletes and coaches across the Colonels' 14 NCAA Division III programs.

We continue the series with Amanda Anderson (Hanson, Mass.), a rising junior from our women's volleyball program:

How did you get into your sport? I started playing when I was in middle school and have loved it ever since.

Why did you choose Curry? I loved the campus and the student environment.

What hobbies do you have outside your sport? I coach a club volleyball team part time and go to the gym after class.

Are you involved in other activities on the Curry campus? If so, explain. I am a part of SAAC (Student-Athlete Advisory Committee).

What is your dream job? Clinical Psychologist

What is your greatest sports moment? Our team winning a game after the toughest and closest match of the season.

What is your favorite thing to do off the playing surface with your teammates? Team Dinners

Interesting fact about yourself? I am a commuter.

Do you have any pregame/pre-event rituals? If so, what are they? I always have to listen to my favorite pump-up playlist.
