Women's Volleyball Picks Up 3-0 Road Win at Becker

LEICESTER, Mass. – The Curry College women’s volleyball team picked up its second win of the season, defeating host Becker College Thursday evening by the score of 3-0 (25-21, 25-18, 25-11).

The Colonels were led by sophomore Jessica Crugnale (North Reading, MA), who had 10 kills and eight service aces, both match highs. Freshman Courtney DiBiasio (Coventry, RI) had seven kills and seven digs.

For the Hawks, senior Nicole Morse (Alton, NH) had five kills and a solo block while freshman Danielle Robbie (Bellingham, MA) had five kills and six digs.

Curry improves to 2-2 while Becker falls to 1-6 for the season. Becker will now head to MCLA this Saturday for a tri-match against the host Trailblazers and the Eagles of Green Mountain College. Curry will host Eastern Nazarene and Saint Joseph (Conn.) as part of its own tri-match, also on Saturday. (Match recap courtesy of Becker College Sports Information)
