MILTON, Mass. - The Curry College women's tennis team dropped an 8-1 decision to Emerson College Tuesday afternoon in non-conference play at the Trent J. Scott '96 Tennis Courts.
With the defeat, Curry continues to seek its first win of the season, dropping to 0-6 overall.
Curry's only victory of the afternoon came at the first singles position, where junior Sasha Borkov (Newton, Mass.) picked up a hard-earned 6-4, 6-3 victory over Emerson's Fuschia Faulding Steward.
Next up for the Colonels, they will travel to Rhode Island College on Thursday afternoon for a 3:30 p.m. start against the Anchorwomen.
