KISSIMMEE, Fla. - The Curry College women's tennis team suffered a 9-0 defeat to the Illinois Institute of Technology Monday evening on its Florida Spring Break trip at the Oak Street Tennis Center.
With the defeat, Curry falls to 2-14 overall on the season.
Sophomore Sasha Borkov (Newton, Mass.) saw her eight-match losing streak singles losing streak with a hard fought 3-6, 4-6 loss to Morgan Colbert at first singles. Her win streak had dated back to her last loss against Nichols' Antonia Carrero on September 21.
Curry will be back in action on its Florida Spring Break trip against Colby-Sawyer College on Tuesday afternoon at 3 p.m.
