Women’s Tennis Tripped Up by Corsairs

MILTON, Mass. - The Curry College women's tennis team suffered a loss to non-conference opponent UMass Dartmouth 7-2 Thursday evening at the Trent J. Scott Tennis Courts.

With the defeat, Curry drops to 2-9 overall on the season and 0-5 in the CCC.

Curry's Alexandra Borkov (Newton, Mass.) defeated UMass Dartmouth's Yasemin Kurtis in first singles, set scores (6-1, 6-0).

Serena Wilson (Windsor, Conn.) and Samantha Ferrara (Brewster, N.Y.) were victorious over the Corsairs' first doubles Emma Sokolovsky and Yasemin Kurtis 8-6.  

Curry will return to the court Saturday as they continue CCC action with a match at home against Western New England at 12 p.m.
