Women's Tennis Clinches #6 Seed in TCCC Tournament After 6-3 Win at Gordon
WENHAM, Mass. – Curry College clinched the #6 seed in next week’s The Commonwealth Coast Conference (TCCC) Women’s Tennis Tournament by virtue of its 6-3 win at Gordon College on Saturday in Wenham. The Colonels improved to 9-6 overall and 6-5 in league play. The Fighting Scots fell to 4-9 overall and 4-7 in TCCC action.

Curry captured two of three doubles matches, earning points from Emily Mongello and Lauren Chuha at #1, and Kate Johnson and Megan Mulrooney at #2.  In singles, the Colonels put away the match after straight-set victories by Mulrooney at #1,  Lauren Maloney at #3, Chuha at #4, and Devin Curley at #6.

Curry will travel to play #3 seed Salve Regina in a Tournament quarterfinal match on Tuesday, October 12. Start time is tentatively scheduled for 2:00 p.m.
