Women's Soccer Silenced by Regis

WESTON, Mass. - The Curry College women's soccer team suffered a 1-0 defeat at the hands of Regis College in non-conference action on Sunday afternoon.

With the defeat, Curry drops to 0-1-1 overall on the season.

Regis scored the only goal of the contest just 4:25 into the game, which held up as the game winner. Curry outshot Regis 24-6 in the contest, and led the corner count 9-3 in the defeat.

In goal, senior Hannah Correa (Carver, Mass.) took the defeat for the Colonels, making four saves in 90 minutes of action.

Pacing Curry offensively was senior captain Madison Frye (Abington, Mass.), who took a team-high four shots, landing two on target.

Curry will return to action on Wednesday for its home opener against Framingham State University. Kick-off is slated for 4 p.m.
