2022 Curry College Women's Soccer Schedule
MILTON, Mass. - The 2022 competition schedule for the Curry College women’s soccer program was released on Thursday morning.
The 17-game slate features eight non-conference contests and nine showdowns against Commonwealth Coast Conference foes. The Colonels will host nine games at Walter M. Katz Field, while hitting the road on eight occasions.
Curry opens its season on Thursday, September 1 with a trip to Rhode Island College. The contest marks the second consecutive season the two teams will square off on the season’s inaugural day, with the Colonels earning a 4-1 victory over the Anchorwomen on September 1, 2021 at Katz Field.
Curry’s first home game of the season takes place two days later, when Regis College makes the short trip to Milton on September 3.
The other non-league opponents visiting Katz Field in 2022 are Maine Maritime (September 4), UMass Dartmouth (September 10), and Worcester State (September 22).
Western New England comes to town on Saturday, September 17 to open CCC play. Just under a month later, Curry will host Suffolk at Katz Field for its annual Homecoming game on Saturday, October 15.
Senior Day 2022 will take place on Saturday, October 22. Curry women’s soccer’s Class of 2023 will be honored on the field in a special pregame ceremony prior to playing their final regular season contest at Katz Field.
The Colonels will conclude its 2022 regular season three days later on the road at Gordon College on Tuesday, October 25.
"We are so excited for the 2022 season,” said Curry head coach Sarah Dacey, who begins her first season on the sidelines of the women’s soccer program. “I know the players and coaching staff are ready to compete and see how much we can come together as a team this season. Our schedule will challenge us and test us in a variety of ways, so we will have to rise to those challenges with hardwork and determination to achieve our goals of being successful as a team."
