BRISTOL, RI - Curry College Women's Soccer continued Commonwealth Coast Conference action with a win on the road over the Roger Williams University Hawks Tuesday afternoon.

With the win, Curry moves forward with an overall record of 8-4-1 and 3-1-1 in the CCC.

The Colonels marked the sole goal of the conference bout just under 17 minutes into play. Curry College graduate forward Samantha Borges (Somerset, Mass.) buried a penalty kick past Hawks' goalkeeper Coco Marrelli to take a one-goal lead over the hosts.

The Colonels would hold off any further attacks by the hosting Hawks despite 23 shots from Roger Williams' strikers through regulation.

Curry's Hannah Correa (Carver, Mass.) marked seven saves in the Commonwealth Coast Conference win on the road.

The Colonels return to the field Saturday as they host conference opponent Suffolk University on Walter M. Katz Field at 5 PM.
