Lima Earns All-CCC First Team Honors

MILTON, Mass. - Nine different institutions that sponsor women's soccer from the Commonwealth Coast Conference (CCC) were represented on the 2015 All-CCC Women's Soccer Team, including Curry College junior forward Kaitlyn Lima (New Bedford, Mass.), who earned All-CCC First Team honors.

Gordon College senior Mariah Kaiser was named CCC Offensive Player of the Year, while Wentworth Institute of Technology junior Mary Pastorelli was honored with the CCC Defensive Player of the. Salve Regina freshman Abby McMackin, Wentworth Institute of Technology freshman Madyson Reno and Roger Williams sophomore Samantha Woznicki were chosen as CCC Rookies of the Year. Roger Williams University senior Haley Carignan was selected as CCC Senior Scholar-Athlete of the Year and Wentworth Institute of Technology's Bobby Desilets earned CCC Coach of the Year.  Gordon College was the recipient of the Team Sportsmanship Award.

Voting for the All-CCC team and each of the major awards was conducted among CCC women's soccer coaches.

Joining Kaiser (forward), Reno (forward), and Pastorelli (defender) on the first team was forward Jackie Dickerson (University of New England), midfielders Kaitlyn Lima (Curry), Paige Marinelli (Endicott), Morgan Miller (Wentworth) and Jessica Valenti (Roger Williams), defenders Kristen Casey (Roger Williams), and Katherine Chipman (Endicott), and goalkeeper Brielle Robinson (University of New England).

Second team selections included forwards Katherine Lawrence (Eastern Nazarene), Ali Leach (Wentworth), Jessica Meader (University of New England) and McMackin, midfielders Taylor Littlefield (University of New England), Ashley Mueskes (Endicott), and Emily Richard (Wentworth), defenders Mary Annon (Wentworth), Leeann Card (Endicott), and Kristen Knight (Roger Williams), and goalkeeper Briana Kubik (Western New England).

Receiving third team honors were forwards Carignan, Jenna Hart (Roger Williams), and Sharlotte Pernice (Endicott), midfielders Jamie Breton (Gordon), Devon Wolfenden (University of New England), and Woznicki, defenders Jessica Broadhurst (University of New England), Katelyn Cummings (Western New England) and Maria Philbrick (University of New England) and goalkeepers Kristen Farley (Eastern Nazarene) and Micaela Robinson (Wentworth).
