2014 All-CCC Women’s Soccer Teams Announced

SPRINGFIELD, Mass. - All 10 member institutions from the Commonwealth Coast Conference (CCC) were represented on the 2014 All-CCC Women's Soccer Team. In addition to the all-conference team, five major individual award winners and a team sportsmanship award winner were also selected.

Roger Williams University junior Mariah Kaiser was named CCC Offensive Player of the Year, while University of New England senior Lindsey Monaco was honored with the CCC Defensive Player of the Year and Senior Scholar-Athlete of the Year award. Nichols College freshman Meghan Dunn and University of New England freshman Becca Murphy were both selected as CCC Rookie of the Year, Western New England University senior Avery Clark was also named CCC Senior Scholar-Athlete of the Year and Roger Williams's Tim Moody earned CCC Coach of the Year.  Salve Regina University was the recipient of the Team Sportsmanship Award.

Voting for the All-CCC team and each of the major awards was conducted among CCC women's soccer coaches.

Joining Kaiser on the first team were forwards Paige Marinelli (Endicott), and Hannah Midwinter (Gordon), midfielders Ally George (Endicott), Jules Speno (Eastern Nazarene) and Jessica Valenti (Roger Williams), backs Kristen Casey (Roger Williams), Lauren Kett (Eastern Nazarene), Clare Mansfield (Endicott) and Monaco, goalkeeper Briana Kubik (Western New England).

Second team selections included forwards Haley Carignan (Roger Williams), Jackie Dickerson (University of New England), Kaitlyn Lima (Curry), and Tayler Mazurski (Western New England), midfielders Taylor McSherry (Gordon), Morgan Miller (Wentworth), and Margaret Palmer (University of New England), backs Kristen Knight (Roger Williams), Sammi Morren (Gordon), Mary Pastorelli (Wentworth), and Hannah Scahill (Eastern Nazarene), goalkeeper Sydney Martin (Roger Williams).

Earning honorable mention were forwards Lauren Bulk (Salve Regina), Meghan Dunn (Nichols), Katherine Lawrence (Eastern Nazarene), Olivia Moore and Valeria Zapata (Wentworth), midfielders Paige Byrne (Roger Williams), Leeann Card (Endicott), Avery Clark (Western New England) and Kristen Tetreault (Roger Williams), backs Erica Antonison (Nichols), Katelyn Cummings (Western New England), Abigail Ford (Curry), Shannon Hickey (Endicott), and Katelyn Pierson (University of New England), goalkeepers Katie Donnelly (Endicott) and Brielle Robinson (University of New England)
