Women's Soccer Volunteers at the Milton Easter Egg Festival

MILTON, Mass. - The Curry Women's Soccer team participated in the 2014 Easter Egg Festival in Milton on Saturday, April 12.  The event was attended by over 200 children ranging from ages 2-6.  The program is run by the Milton Parks and Recreation Department.  The Curry Women's Soccer players worked at a variety of different stations inside Cunningham Hall that consisted of coloring Easter eggs, coloring Easter pictures, taking photos with the Easter Bunny, decorating Easter bags, and face painting.  They also helped with the outdoor Easter Egg Hunt.

"This is such a wonderful way for our players to interact and work with the local kids in this great community " said Head Coach Jason Tassinari.  "A big part of being a member of this team is giving back and positively influencing young children.  Thankfully my players fully know their responsibilities being a part of this program and really do a great job with the kids and families at this event.  They really love interacting with the kids, making them smile, and helping make their Easter special.  The Easter Egg Festival in one of our favorite things to do every year, and we look forward to doing it again in 2015. Our thanks to Dave Perdios and the entire Parks and Recreation staff for once again putting on a first-class event."
