Women’s Lacrosse Outclassed by Western New England

SPRINGFIELD, Mass. - Curry College was defeated 22-9 by Western New England University in a Conference of New England women's lacrosse game Tuesday afternoon at Golden Bear Stadium.

With the loss, the Colonel's overall record falls to 4-11 and 1-6 in conference.

Grayson Goolgasian and Nicole Michael paved the way for Curry offensively, scoring four goals each to combine for eight of the Colonels' nine scores. Natalie Keenan accounted for the additional goal while Goolgasian added two assists and Sarah Kelly finished with one.

Vivi Helquist played the entire game in net for the Colonels, making 11 saves in the loss.

Curry College returns to action for the final home game of the season against Endicott on Saturday, April 19th, beginning at 11 a.m.
