Women's Lacrosse Clipped by Endicott on Senior Night

MILTON, Mass. - The Curry College women's lacrosse team suffered an 18-2 defeat to Endicott College Tuesday evening in Commonwealth Coast Conference action at Walter M. Katz Field.

With the defeat, Curry drops to 4-10 overall on the season and 1-6 in the CCC.

Before the game, Curry celebrated its lone senior, defender Emma Kelly (East Falmouth, Mass.) prior to her final home game at Katz Field. Kelly was joined on the field by her parents David and Melonie for the ceremony.

Curry scored its only two goals in the fourth quarter. Junior Lexi LaPerle (Ledyard, Conn.) opened the scoring for the Colonels with 6:17 remaining in the contest on a perfect feed from behind the net from sophomore Natalie Keenan (Haverhill, Mass.).

The second Colonel marker came from sophomore Grayson Goolgasian (Johnston, R.I.) with just under three minutes to play, coming off an assist from junior Ellie Hardman (Hanover, Mass.).

Between the pipes, sophomore Vivi Helquist (Proctor, Minn.) made five saves in the defeat.

Next up for the Colonels, they will close out their regular season next Wednesday with a road contest at Wentworth. First draw is slated for 4 p.m.
