Women's Lacrosse Closes Home Slate with Loss to Endicott

MILTON, Mass. – The Curry College women's lacrosse team dropped a 31-1 decision to Endicott College on Wednesday night in Commonwealth Coast Conference (CCC) play at Walter M. Katz Field.

A total of 13 Endicott players scored goals on the day, led by five for senior Maya Feigenbaum (West Hartford, Conn.). Five other players finished with at least three goals in the contest. Sara

Feigenbaum secured her hat trick with 18:47 to go in the first half as the Gulls (6-1 overall, 6-0 CCC) went ahead 12-1. The margin expanded to 18-1 heading into the halftime intermission.

The Gulls went on to shut out the Colonels in the second half to take the contest, 31-1.

Curry sophomore goalie Amanda Benedetti (Lagrangeville, N.Y.) made five saves against 36 shots. Freshman Lydia Akins (Edina, Minn.) stopped one shot in goal for Endicott.

Curry (1-6 overall, 1-6 CCC) wraps up the regular season on Saturday, April 24 with a road contest at Nichols College at noon.
