CENTERVILLE, Mass. - The Eastern College Athletic Conference (ECAC) announced its 2014 Division III New England Women's Lacrosse All-Star teams and six Commonwealth Coast Conference (CCC) athletes have been honored.

Curry College Senior defender Mel Brickey (Chelmsford, Mass.) has been named to the ECAC Division III New England Women's First-Team All-Star Team.  Brickey was one of six Commonwealth Coast Conference players to be recognized.  She was a member of the Commonwealth Coast Conference First-Team. Brickey finished the year with 81 total points on 40 goals and 41 assists, 91 ground balls, 156 draw controls and 98 caused turnovers. 

The voting for the 2014 ECAC Division III New England Women's Lacrosse All-Star teams and major award winners was completed by the head coaches within the ECAC Division III New England Women's Lacrosse membership.
