MILTON, Mass. - Junior Mel Brickey (Chelmsford, Mass.) has been named as ECAC Division III New England Defensive Player of the Week. Brickey continues to be a force on defense for the Colonels after going 2-0 on the week. Brickey caused 21 turnovers in just two games, a 23-1 victory at Becker and a 12-2 win over Fitchburg. At midfield, she scooped up eight ground balls and won 12 draw controls. She also helped out on attack netting 10 goals and dishing out three assists for 13 points.
