Weston, Mass.- Ashley Hansbury (Chelmsford, Mass.) tied her career of most points in a game with three goals and seven assists for 10 total points.  Teammate senior Rachel Robichaud (Billerica, Mass.) posted a career-high five goals and three assists for eight points as they helped lead Curry College (4-1, 1-0 TCCC) to a 28-1 defeat of Regis College (0-1, 0-1 TCCC) Saturday in Weston. Regis was elevated to varsity status after having competed at the club level in 2009.
 
The Colonels had 12 different scorers in the game. Senior Carissa Lauyer (Bloomsburry, NJ), had four goals and chipped in for two assists for six points and juinior Elissa Bulgatz (Chicago, Ill.) also had four goals,  Junior Jessie Koffman (Andover, Mass.) contributed with three goals.   

Freshmen Nicole Sullivan (Medford, Mass.), and Ana Bottary (Hull, Mass.) each scored two.  Sophomore Heather Breton (Wolfeboro, NH), freshman Kimberly Heintzelman (Marietta, Ga.), senior Nicole Fratto (Braintree, Mass.), sophomore Michaela Powers (Falmouth, Mass.), and junior Julie Evans(Chelmsford, Mass.) each had one.
 
As a team Curry had 32 shots in the game, and had 21 ground balls to Regis’ 12. The Colonels also had 26 draw controls to the Prides three. Regis managed just one goal, made by Terese Crevier (Milford, Mass.).
 
Curry had three different goalies in net. Junior Maria Lynch (Billerica, Mass.) played in net for 20 minutes without a shot, junior Kate Noe (Greenwich, CT) played in net for 20 minutes without a shot and freshman Emily LeBlanc (Abington, Mass.) played for 20 minutes and faced the only shot Regis had.  The Prides goalie freshman Jillian DeFransesco  (Peabody, Mass.) made three saves in the loss.

Both teams will play conference opponents Wednesday, March 24. Curry will travel to Western New England College. Regis will travel to Anna Maria College.
