Four-time Defending Champion Endicott College has been selected as the favorite to win the 2010 Commonwealth Coast Conference women’s lacrosse championship, it was announced today by Commissioner Gregg M. Kaye. Voting for the preseason poll was conducted among the league’s head women’s lacrosse coaches.
Endicott (15-5, 9-0) received nine of 12 first-place votes in the 2010 TCCC preseason poll. Roger Williams was selected as the runner-up, picking up two first-place votes. Western New England was slotted third and received the lone remaining first-place vote. Gordon was picked to finish fourth, while Curry was selected fifth. Anna Maria and Regis will join competition for the 2010 TCCC Women’s Lacrosse Championship.
Teams received 12 points for every first place vote received, 11 points for second place votes, 10 points for third place votes, down to one point for a last place vote. First place votes are shown in parentheses.
