BEVERLY, Mass. - Three Curry College women's ice hockey players earned Conference of New England Postseason Awards, announced by the league office on Tuesday afternoon. The awards aim to highlight some of the best programs and players in the conference.
Danielle Reid earned First-Team All-Conference for her spectacular season as the Colonels' go-to player on offense. Reid's goal in Curry's 5-0 semifinal victory over Suffolk marked eight games in a row with at least one goal for the senior. It was her 19th of the year, not only a career-high but good enough to rank first in the CNE and top 10 among all DIII women's ice hockey players. She is a two-time 2024-25 CNE Player of the Week recipient. Reid is also rocking a +5 plus/minus stat, adding four assists to her impressive goal total to rank second on the team with 23 total points.
Grayson Goolgasian is first on the team with 29 points, consisting of 10 goals and 19 assists, which ranks top 20 in the country among DIII women's ice hockey players. This impressive statline was good enough to earn the senior First-Team All-Conference honors. With her team-high +18 plus/minus stat, Goolgasian has been a major contributor to the Colonels' run to the Conference of New England Finals.
In addition to the major awards and all-conference teams, the CNE also announced its new Community Service Team, highlighting one student-athlete per institution who demonstrates a commitment to their community. Each winner was picked and nominated by each program's head coach. Senior Anna Kahl was the Curry recipient of this award. Kahl has been a stalwart defender for the Colonels while adding five assists on the offensive side of the rink.
Reid, Goolgasian, Kahl, and the rest of the Colonels travel to Endicott on Saturday, March 8th, to compete in the CNE Women's Ice Hockey Championship. Puck drops at 3 p.m.
