Milton, MA - The CNE announced their weekly awards, and three Curry hockey players were honored.
On the men's side of things, Nolan McDonough was named the men's hockey player of the week after scoring three goals and adding one assist on the week. He helped the men beat two nationally ranked teams in Endicott and UNE, and helped the Colonels clinch the CNE regular season title.
On the women's side of things, Sarah Kerr and Danielle Reid were each recognized.
Reid was named the CNE player of the week after she became the first Colonel in program history to record a hat trick with her four goal performance on Friday at Nichols, and then added another goal on Saturday in the win over Suffolk. She has now scored in a record tying five consecutive games.
Kerr was named the goalie of the week after stopping 60 of the 61 shots she faced, including a 33 shutout performance against Suffolk.
Both teams will wrap up the regular season this weekend before hosting playoff games next week.
