Rye, NY - The Curry Women's Hockey team fell to Manhattanville on Saturday by a final score of 1-0. With the loss, the Colonels are now 4-6 on the year, while the Valiants are 4-6-1.
The lone goal of the came early in the second, and while the Colonels outshot their opponents 13-7 in the third period, they were unable to find an equalizer.
As has been the case in a majority of games this season, the Colonels outshot their opponents (35-21), and won the faceoff battle (26-21). But they were unable to get the puck in the back of the net.
Hannah Garrett-Howard made her first career start, stopping 20 saves for the Colonels.
