East Boston, MA - The Curry Women's Hockey team ended the fall semester with a loss to Suffolk on Saturday, falling 5-2. The Colonels are now 4-5 on the season, and 3-5 in CNE play. The Rams are now 5-6 and 4-3.

The Rams opened the game up with a goal just a minute into the game, and doubled their lead at the 4:29 mark. But Curry fought back, and scored a power play goal off the stick of Ali Olorenshaw. Her goal was assisted by Tommi Nash and Rian Faery

Both teams would score in the second period, with Margot Oxman tallying a goal in the final minute to draw the Colonels within a goal. But two third period goals for Suffolk would give them the win.

Hannah Berkowitz and Danielle Reid each won double digit faceoffs with 14 and 12 each. As a team, the Colonels won 33 faceoffs to Suffolk's 24. The Colonels also outshot the Rams 46 to 29.

Coriann Hoag made 24 saves in net for the Colonels.

Up Next - The Colonels will have some time off, and then return to the ice on January 4th when they play at Manhattanville.
