Women's Ice Hockey Tripped Up by Endicott

CANTON, Mass. - The Curry College women's ice hockey team dropped a 6-1 decision to Endicott College on Saturday afternoon in Commonwealth Coast Conference action at the Canton Ice House.

With the defeat, Curry falls to 7-10-2 overall on the season and 4-7-2 in the CCC. 

Curry's only goal of the contest came late in the second period when Danielle Stein (Plainview, N.Y.) converted on a shorthanded breakaway to cut Endicott's lead to 5-1. Stein intercepted the puck in the neutral zone and deked around the Endicott netminder to deposit her sixth goal of the season.

Colonel sophomore netminder Anna Langton (Zimmerman, Minn.) made 52 saves in the losing effort for Curry. 

Next up for the Colonels, they will head on the road to take on Salve Regina University on Friday evening. Puck drop from St. George's School is slated for 7 p.m.
