DUDLEY, Mass. - Curry College Women's Ice Hockey fell to Commonwealth Coast Conference opponent Nichols College 1-0 on the road Friday evening.

With the loss, Curry moves forward with an overall record of 4-5-2 and 2-3-2 in the CCC.

The conference matchup saw a scoreless first two periods in Dudley, Mass. with the hosting Bison narrowly outpacing the Colonels 19-17 on shots through the opening 40 minutes.

Nichols College netted the game-winning goal with just 22 seconds left in regulation, junior forward Grace Wiggett finding an opening past Curry's Soleil Archambeault (London, Ontario) to grant the Bison the 1-0 victory on home ice.

Curry's senior netminder Soleil Archambeault turned aside 25 of the 26 shots she faced in the Commonwealth Coast Conference loss on the road.

The Colonels get back on the ice Saturday evening as they hit the road for Amherst, Mass. to face non-conference opponent Amherst College at 7:30 PM.
