Women's Ice Hockey Eliminated in CCC Semis by Endicott

BEVERLY, Mass. - The Curry College women's ice hockey team saw its inaugural season come to a close on Saturday evening with an 8-0 loss to top-seeded Endicott College in the Commonwealth Coast Conference Semifinals at the Raymond J. Bourque Arena.

With the defeat, Curry closes its season with a record of 4-22-1. 

Endicott took control of the contest in the early going, scoring twice in the opening 20 minutes to take a 2-0 lead into the first intermission. Quin Healy and Jacy Kuhlmann scored first period markrs for the hosts.

The Gulls tacked on three more in the second off the sticks of Emmerson Hayes, Meaghan Francis, and Kaylee Liberty, taking a commanding 5-0 lead to the third.

Jess Michals, Courtney Sullivan, and Kat Keith netted goals in the third for Endicott to help seal the win.

Curry was outshot by a margin of 70-8 in the defeat, but Colonel freshman netminder Anna Langton (Zimmerman, Minn.) turned aside an impressive 62 shots.
