SPRINGFIELD, Mass. – Curry College freshman Kathryn Dunn (Hanson, Mass.) was named Commonwealth Coast Conference (CCC) Rookie of the Week for the sport of women's basketball, as announced by the league office on Monday afternoon.

Dunn opened the new year with a career game as she scored 15 points and grabbed 13 rebounds in Curry's 56-43 victory over MCLA on Saturday. Both totals were season-highs. Five of her 13 boards came on the offensive glass and she also recorded four steals, three assists, and one block in the win.

Curry (2-9 overall, 0-2 CCC) will next host the Wentworth Institute of Technology on Tuesday, January 7 at 5:30 p.m.
