High School: Beltz is a 2011 graduate of Pequot Lakes High School…Played basketball for four years for Coach Bob Nelson… Also ran cross country for coaches Jon and Kate Dale…Served as hoops team captain senior year…Three-year cross country team captain…Basketball honors included: All-State Honorable Mention (2011), All-Conference (2010, 2011) and Sports Cow Athlete of the Week (2011)…Basketball accomplishments included: 1,000-point career scorer and team’s best field-goal percentage for three consecutive years…Cross country honors included: Three-time Most Valuable Runner…Honors and extracurricular activities included: Student of the Month (2009) and honor roll student (2008-11), National Honor Society, Prom Committee and Rotary International’s Interact Club.
