Four Players Reach Double Figures As WBB Cruises Past Fisher, 74-26
ROXBURY, Mass. - Four Curry College players contributed double-digit points as the Colonels cruised past Fisher College, 74-26, in women's basketball action Thursday night in Roxbury.  Curry improved to 4-5 on the season while the Falcons fell to 2-12.

The Colonels shot better than 51% from the field in the first half, racing out to a 37-17 lead after 20 minutes. Fisher was held to 25% shooting in the first half, and just 12% in the second half. Curry held a 49-28 edge in rebounding.

The visitors were led by senior captain Liz Forte, who had a game-high 18 points. Freshman Hailey Rafferty, junior Cortney Robinson and freshman Julia Scrubb each poured in 11 points. Rafferty took game-high rebounding honors with nine boards.

The Falcons' leading scorer was Tiffany Beckman, who scored 12 points. Leslie Wadhams got a team-high five rebounds for the hosts.

Curry returns to action this Saturday, traveling to Western New England College for The Commonwealth Coast Conference (TCCC) opener at 1:00 p.m. Fisher resumes play Friday night, hosting Cooper Union in a 6:00 p.m. contest.
