Clermont, FL - The Curry Softball team fell to 2-4 on the season on Tuesday, falling to Regis 2-1, and Washington College 9-1.

Game One vs Regis

In a low scoring game, all the scoring came in the third inning. A two RBI double put the Pride up 2-0.The the Colonels responded in the bottom half of the inning, causing problems with their legs. That has been a noticeable trend for the Colonels, as they have not been afraid to steal a base. Abby Greene got on base with a single, and then stole second and third. After Adrianna Capozzi walked, she stole second. On that steal the Pride threw down to third to try to catch Greene, but instead threw it into the outfield, allowing the Colonels to score a run. But the Colonels were never able to threaten again, and fell 2-1.

Game Two vs Washington College

The Colonels would score a run in the top half of the first on a Morgan Barmash RBI single, but after that it was all Washington College, as they went on to win 9-1.

Up Next - After an off day on Wednesday, the Colonels will return to the field on Thursday to take on Hood and Ohio Wesleyan, beginning play at 9am.
