MILTON, Mass. – Kate (Fallon)-Comeau '05 is the next to be featured in our Alumni Spotlight series. She was a Health Education major and a member of the Curry College softball program.

Current job title and what does that position entail? Adapted Physical Education Teacher & Varsity Volleyball Coach; King Philip Varsity Softball Coach
How did being a student-athlete at Curry assist in preparing you for your career? Being a student-athlete at Curry taught me so many things. It mostly taught me discipline! It gave me a career. I knew I wanted to be a coach one day and Curry gave me the opportunity to become a teacher and a coach!
What piece of advice would you have for current Curry College student-athletes? Enjoy every moment! It's goes by fast! Never take any day for granted, work hard, have patience, and be a good teammate!
What is your most fond memory of Curry College Athletics? The camaraderie we shared! Every team supported each other during the time I attended. Also setting the school record for most wins in a single season!
What would you say were your greatest athletic and academic accomplishments at Curry College? In 2004, our team set the school record for most wins in a single season! I was also chosen as the 2005 Co-Female Athlete of the Year! Academically, I graduated with honors.
Why did you choose Curry College? I chose Curry College because of Bruce Weckworth! He came to watch me play a 6:00 a.m. game in the dome! I also fell in love with the campus and tight-knit community the College offered.
