LOUISVILLE, Ky. - The National Fastpitch Coaches Association (NFCA) released their annual All-Region Teams and the Commonwealth Coast Conference (CCC) had five student-athletes honored. Curry freshman Marissa Bruno, Endicott senior Nell O'Connor and freshmen Rachel Couto and Chrissy Gikas, and University of New England senior Amanda Vaudreuil were named All-New England for their performance on the field this past spring.

Bruno was selected to the NFCA Third Team. The CCC Rookie of the Year stands out among CCC rookies as she ranks among the league leaders in several offensive categories. She topped the league in home runs with nine, while being ranked second in RBI (36), fifth in slugging percentage (.680), and tied for fifth in hits with 48. Bruno finished her freshman campaign with a .384 batting average (12th), a .419 on-base percentage (16th), and has scored 24 runs (tied for 13th), while earning a CCC Rookie of the week honor once this season.
