MILTON, Mass. - The Commonwealth Coast Conference (TCCC) has honored Curry College softball player Alysia DiMuzio for her performance during the week of March 30 - April 5. It marks the second week in a row that DiMuzio has earned TCCC Player of the Week accolades. The ECAC then announced that DiMuzio was their choice for Division III New England Player of the Week:

Curry College senior first baseman Alysia DiMuzio (Quincy, Mass.) put on a power display last week, slugging six home runs and tallying 19 RBI in nine games and helping the Colonels to an impressive 8-1 weekly record.  DiMuzio, who batted .394 (13-for-33) with a .970 slugging percentage, hit safely in eight of nine games, while driving in at least one run in seven contests.  Her monster week at the plate included a two-home run game against Fitchburg State, a pair of five-RBI performances against Fitchburg and Wentworth, and a three-run walk-off home run against Anna Maria.

Through 22 games this season, DiMuzio is batting .387 with nine home runs and 31 RBI. Curry has a 13-9 record overall and is 7-3 in the TCCC.
