Softball Eliminated From TCCC Tournament After 5-4 Loss to Anna Maria
WENHAM, Mass. - Sixth-seeded Curry was edged 5-4 by #5 Anna Maria eliminating the Colonels from The Commonwealth Coast Conference (TCCC) Tournament. The game was played at Gordon College in Wenham, Mass. Curry concluded its season with a 19-21 record.

The Colonels took a 3-1 lead in the top of the second on an RBI single by freshman Valarie LaSala and a two-RBI base hit by senior Kristen Jackman. The AMCATS took a 4-3 lead in the bottom of the third, but Curry knotted the game at 4-4 when freshman Marissa Strangie stroked a run-scoring single. But Anna Maria plated what proved to be the game-winning run in the bottom of the sixth to advance in tournament play.

Junior Janelle Mayo (11-8) took the loss, allowing six hits, four walks and five earned runs while striking out four in six innings of work.
