FORT MYERS, Fla. - Junior captain Amanda Peters (East Bridgewater, MA) belted a two-run home run, helping lead Curry past the University of Scranton, 4-3, on Day Three of the team's Spring Break Trip to Florida. Junior captain Janelle Mayo (Worcester, Mass.) tossed a complete game in picking up the victory, helping her cause by bringing home the game-winning run in the bottom of the seventh on a sacrifice fly.

The Colonels found the going tough after their win over Scranton, dropping a 9-4 decision to SUNY New Paltz, then absorbing a 14-0 loss to Amherst and an 8-0 loss to Wisconsin-Superior.
