Men's Tennis Stopped by Roger Williams

MILTON, Mass. - The Curry College men's tennis team dropped a 9-0 decision to Roger Williams University Tuesday afternoon in Commonwealth Coast Conference action at the Trent J. Scott '96 Tennis Courts.

With the defeat, Curry falls to 0-11 overall on the season and 0-4 in the CCC.

Curry fell in each of its three doubles matches to open the day. Curry dropped the first and third doubles matches by an 8-0 margin, but Kevin Meade (Milton, Mass.) and Tim O'Brien (Attleboro, Mass.) took three points from the Hawks in an 8-3 loss at second doubles.

The Colonels managed just three total games in singles play as the Hawks dominated its way to the sweep.

Curry will begin a three-match road trip with a rescheduled CCC contest against Western New England on Thursday. First serves from Springfield are scheduled for 3:30 p.m.
