SPRINGFIELD, Mass. – Curry College junior Aidan Roach (Norwell, Mass.) of the men's tennis team has been named as the Commonwealth Coast Conference (CCC) Player of the Week, as announced by the league office on Monday afternoon.

Roach had a strong week playing in the Colonels' top spots in both singles and doubles. He opened the week earning the only point in his team's 8-1 conference loss to Endicott. He needed three sets to win his No. 1 singles matchup against the Gulls, earning the victory (5-7, 6-1, 10-7). He earned another win at No. 1 singles later in the week, besting Wentworth's top competitor, (6-0, 6-1). He also picked up a point at No. 1 doubles against the Leopards with an 8-2 result.

Roach and the Colonels (3-8 overall, 1-2 CCC) will return to the court on Tuesday, April 9 at home against UMass Boston at 3:30 p.m.
