Men's Tennis Edged 5-4 at Johnson & Wales in Non-Conference Action
PROVIDENCE, R.I. - The Curry College Men's Tennis team dropped a 5-4 decision at Johnson & Wales in a non-conference contest at the Moses Brown Courts on Thursday afternoon.

Johnson & Wales junior James Adriano (Pawcatuck, Conn.) posted a 6-4, 6-4 win at No. 2 singles and teamed with freshman Mars Wala (Woonsocket, R.I.) for an 8-6 victory at the second doubles spot.  Freshman Ian Huxel (Newburgh, N.Y.) also had a pair of wins on the day for the Wildcats, winning 6-3, 6-1 at No. 3 singles and 8-4 at No. 2 doubles with fellow rookie Jacob Wanner (Lancaster, Pa.).

Curry was led by freshman Joe Berger (Middleboro, Mass.) who had a pair of victories on the day, recording a 6-1, 6-2 victory at No. 5 singles before teaming with fellow freshman Eric Hellberg (Somers, N.Y.) for a 9-7 win at the third doubles spot.
