Men's Tennis Chosen 8th in TCCC Pre-Season Coaches' Poll
SPRINGFIELD, Mass. - Roger Williams University has been tabbed as the favorite to win the 2011 men’s tennis championship for The Commonwealth Coast Conference, it was announced today by Commissioner Gregg M. Kaye. Voting for the preseason poll was conducted among the league’s head men’s tennis coaches.

Roger Williams (16-7, 11-0) received four of the 12 first-place votes in the 2011 TCCC preseason poll. Nichols was selected by the coaches as the runner-up in the conference and received six first-place votes. Defending TCCC champion Salve Regina was slotted in the third spot and garnered the remaining two first-place votes, while Western New England was picked fourth. Endicott was selected to finish fifth by the coaches.

Teams received 12 points for every first place vote received, 11 points for second place votes, 10 points for third place votes, down to one point for a last place vote.
