Men's Tennis Edged 5-4 By Visiting Rhode Island College
MILTON, Mass. - Rhode Island College slipped past Curry College, 5-4, in non-conference men's tennis action Thursday afternoon in Milton. With the win, the Anchormen improve to 2-4, while the Colonels fall to 5-5.

The visitors captured two of three doubles contests by identical 8-2 scores: Nathan Rebello and Michael Aiello defeated Tyler Dulmage and Ben Radzicki at #2; and Garrett Smith and Nate Lee knocked off Tyler Collins and J.D. Moyer at #3. Curry's #1 doubles pair - Brian Leahy and Gregory Kirschner - took care of RIC's Tigran Gasparyan and Michael Ricci, 8-2.

The hosts held a 3-2 advantage in singles, and pulled even in the match at 4-4, with the contest at #2 singles the last to be decided. The Colonels got wins at #1 from Kirschner, #3 from Dulmage and #5 from Radzicki. Garrett Smith and Nate Lee picked up points for the Anchormen at #4 and #6, respectively.

The battle at #2 singles between Curry's Brian Leahy and RIC's Nathan Rebello went to three sets, before Rebello prevailed, 6-7, 6-3, 6-3, and provided his team with the decisive point of the match.

Both teams resume conference play on Saturday, as Curry travels to Western New England College (12:00 p.m.) and RIC visits Salem State College (1:00 p.m.).
