MILTON, Mass. – Curry College defeated visiting Anna Maria College, 9-0, in The Commonwealth Coast Conference (TCCC) men’s tennis action Saturday in Milton. The Colonels improved to 2-4 overall and evened their TCCC record at 1-1. The AMCATS fell to 0-4 overall and 0-3 in conference play.

Curry swept through the six singles matches, as Gregory Kirschner defeated David Bourget, 6-2, 6-2, at number one. Charlie Edlund handled Haakim Ferguson, 6-0, 6-0, at number two, while Brian Leahy knocked off Mike Dandurand, 6-2, 6-1, at number three. Anna Maria’s Adam Williamson took Tyler Dulmage to a tiebreaker at number four, before falling, 2-6, 6-3, 10-3.

The Colonels captured all three doubles matches as well, as Leahy and Kirschner took care of Bourget and Ferguson, 8-1; Dulmage and Ben Radzicki defeated Williamson and James Maloney, 8-4; and Edlund and J.D. Moyer cruised past Jesus Torres and Ben Chick-Reny, 8-2.

Curry returns to action on March 29, hosting Johnson & Wales in non-conference action at 4:30 p.m., while Anna Maria travels to Nichols for 3:30 p.m. TCCC contest on March 30.
