
Six Curry College student-athletes earned 2024 Conference of New England soccer postseason awards. The league announced the All-Conference teams on Friday, November 1st.
Freshman forward Aiden Watts (Plaistow, N.H.) was named to the CNE men's soccer All-Conference First Team. Watts started in 19 matches for the Colonels, making a team-high 11 goals including a hat-trick against Suffolk on October 19th.
Mia Schena (Nahant, Mass.), Sarina Michaud (East Hampton, Conn.), and Maddie Resendes (Coventry, R.I.) were named to the CNE women's soccer All-Conference Third Team. Scehna led the squad with seven goals while Redendes dished out a team-high four assists and added one goal. Michaud was an integral part of the Colonels' defense while managing to get involved offensively with one assist.
The CNE Community Service Team award highlights one student-athlete per institution who demonstrates a commitment to their community. Each winner was picked and nominated by each program's head coach. Senior defender Naytik Vora (Mumbai, India) was the recipient for the men's team while his classmate, goalkeeper Hannah Correa (Carver, Mass.), took home the honor for the women.
